# Exports

### Exports allow you to interact with the clothing system from other scripts.

#### Client Side

* `exports.lvs_clothing:getPedModel(ped)`

  * **Description:** Gets the model of the specified ped.
  * **Parameters:**
    * `ped`: (Optional) The ped ID. If not specified, the player's ped (`PlayerPedId()`) is used.
  * **Returns:** A string with the model name (e.g., `mp_f_freemode_01`).

* `exports.lvs_clothing:getPedAppearance(ped)`

  * **Description:** Gets the full appearance of a ped.
  * **Parameters:**
    * `ped`: (Optional) The ped ID. If not specified, the player's ped is used.
  * **Returns:** A table (`object`) with all the clothing and customization information for the ped.

* `exports.lvs_clothing:setPedAppearance(ped, appearance)`
  * **Description:** Sets the full appearance of a ped.
  * **Parameters:**

    * `ped`: The ped ID. If not specified, the player's ped is used.
    * `appearance`: The appearance table to be applied, usually obtained beforehand with `getPedAppearance`.

* `exports.lvs_clothing:setPlayerAppearance(appearance)`
  * **Description:** A more direct way of `setPedAppearance` that always applies to the current player.
  * **Parameters:**
    * `appearance`: The appearance table to be applied.
